I like to begin my day with a cup of hot lemon water, mixed honey, fresh ginger, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. I have done this for a few years, and I cannot recommend this enough.
I take this time to meditate, to reflect, to practice mindfulness, to allow the calmness to continue and take precedence over my mind, body, and soul before I begin my day. I’m also very present in the moment. The hot water allows me to sip slowly instead of rushing.
I also journal. This is the time when having a pen to paper allows me to release my thoughts and feelings. I can fully release my thoughts. No judgment, inflow, letting go. When I allow my thoughts to flow, I can release this space from my mind and add room for more space. A mental decluttering.
Try this for a week and see what changes you notice in your mind, body, and throughout the day.
